The Forming Faces Project brings national, international and local legends to life through large-scale art made from recycled materials. Working with community groups, we create stunning portraits of iconic figures whose stories have shaped history. Participants collaborate to design and build these larger than life pieces, using sustainable materials to craft their own artistic interpretations. Participants from diverse backgrounds use photography to capture moments of everyday life, exploring themes of accessibility, representation and community connection. By showcasing these powerful images and stories we aim to spark conversations around inclusivity, challenge perceptions, and inspire positive change within our communities.
First Aid Kits for Creativity (art pack project)
Through its unique approach this project delivers specially curated art packs designed as ‘First Aid kits for Creativity’ directly to participants, helping them stay connected through the arts. We recognise that not everyone can attend in person sessions and we are committed breaking down barriers to participation. We believe that creativity can be a lifeline and sometimes a little paint and lot of laughter and do wonders.
